I have to respond because of what mich said. I lived in Mexico for 10 years and found the people to be the most gracious I've encountered anywhere, and I'm fairly well traveled.
I visited most of the country, with the exception of the Veracruz area. My favorite places would be Mazatlan, Guadalajara, Oaxaca, Puerto Escondido, Guanajuato, Cuernavaca, Morelia, Uruapan, San Cristobal de las Casas and surrounding area, Merida, all of the Yucatan and Quintana Roo ruins, Teotihuacan. I have to leave Mexico D.F. off ONLY because of the quality of the air. I actually adore the city, but cannot go there anymore because of asthma.

Mexico itself is beautiful but the people are ill-mannered, discriminating, mal-educated, mongrels and no breeding/no fine manners especially in beauty pageant like Miss Universe beware to go there this year for the Miss Universe. |
