I live an hour from the border (progresso) and I just take money for day trips. They sell bottled water and everything you need, why tote stuff. |

lots of bottled water if yoru staying a while or just drink the bottled name brand water while your down there. Monte zumas revenge is no fun! and if you going to be going any where that is not very safe keep a stash of cash with you in case the policia gets you cuz they can be brutal or at least know spanish, or if that scares you stick to the main torrist spots. Ive had freinds that went down there and didnt come back for a few months because they were doing something not very smart in mexico and got caught by the police. |
