This isn't going to help you now, but next time you travel, plan ahead. I'm not one to plan every second of my trip, but at least I find out what's there that I would like to do. Be careful asking the locals what to do for fun - they could send you into a very bad situation. Besides, what is acceptable fun for the locals isn't always recommended for tourists. I've been to various places in Mexico and while some of it is absolutely wonderful, it can also be a very dangerous place for tourists who don't use their head. One tip, if you are in a cab, make sure the doors are locked (including front seat) - a favorite tourist crime is for people to open the cab doors and rob you while stopped at a light (they are often working with the cab driver). Better if you dress and look like you don't have all that much $.

make sure you go to isla mujeres... its a 20min ferry ride from puerto juarez in cancun... its only $7 roundtrip... my boyfriend & i went in october just for the day & it was the highlight of our trip...

WOW............ You are in for the time of your life. You are in Cancun for spring break. That is the best time to experience Cancun!
I'll start off first with tipping... Just tip what you feel is appropriate. If you make any attempt to tip someone in Cancun you are doing well. I know travel agents say tipping is not allowed/encouraged, but they appreciate it. Just think... while you are out having fun these people wait on you hand over foot... they work 16 hour days and feed their family of the money you give. The Mexicans are great people that work hard, especially in Cancun, so tip them well. If you give them a good tip they will treat you like a KING!
As far as what you can expect..... You will see people being really drunk, lots of boobs, even public sex. Spring Break in Cancun is basically one big drunken orgy. You will see things and have stories to tell your grandchildren.... Cancun is off the hook!!!
The main part of Spring Break is for college kids to come down from the US and get drunk and flash their boobs and the main goal is to have sex with as many people as you can.
As far as places to go....... You MUST go to Coco Bongo's. It is the best club in Cancun and you will enjoy it very much.
Also go to Senor Frogs... it's a bar and they have a waterslide inside so you can slide out from the bar into the lagoon.
Other places you need to visit are The City, Bulldogs, Dos Equis Bar, Dady O, Dady Rock, Corona Bar.
Basically, Cancun is like this...... you wake up and eat breakfast... then have some drinks by the pool or on the beach.... at about 5 p.m. everybody goes and gets ready to go out.... they eat dinner around 6-7.. then have some drinks in the hotel then they go out to the clubs till about 6 in the morning.
You both will have the times of your life. Please feel free to send me a message if you need to more. If you want a great time you both need to go to Coco Bongo first and the rest will fall into play. Coco Bongo's is the place to be in Cancun.... Don't pay attention to the one guy that said La Boom.... LOL... La Boom got destroyed by a hurricane years ago and doesn't exist anymore.

Dude you have to go to Coco bongo nightclub, it's on downtown cancun, also there's another huge club called Laboom. Coco bongo is one of the hottest clubs there, i believe you pay $20 or something for a VIP pass for a all you can drink access. People complain about the water there but i spend 4 days there and can't remember thinking any water lol.

There are some cool beaches near by. Also, I'm thinking there is a water jet boat that goes to Cozumel and back. Mexico has some real cool food. Also good cerveza.

well all i can say is be VERY careful in cancun, dont drink the tap water, you can get very, very sick, buy lots of bottled water.
