theres alot of shopping in playa del carmen,, you go to 5th avenure its closed off to cars its just shopping and bars and resturants it fun , but go at nite the street is all lit up it is very cool, go during the day and you can take a fairy over to cozumel for like $10 a person and walk around over there hit different bars and shop its fun

Okay - failing the obvious - scuba diving. Mexico is famous for it and the seas are gorgeous. But try to make time for some rumpy-pumpy.

For times in between enjoying other things ;-) (which btw, many people do enjoy doing both lol)

Shopping - clothing, souveniers, jewlery

Historical Sites - ruins, civic buildings, other sites of interest.

Athletic - snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing, boating, wind surfing, body boarding, frisbee.

Food - try out some restaurants, especially something with a nice view... enjoy eating slowly, holding hands, sipping a drink, and watching the sun set.

Evening - do you like to go dancing? karaoke?

I went to wedding in mexico, so they honeymooned there. The sea and beaches are amazing so they spent quite a lot of time there. They also went to these nature parks Xcaret and Xel Ha where at one they swam with the dolphins and did a walk on the seabed. The other they snuba dived (combo of scuba and snorkeling), went to a show and saw the mayan ruins. One evening they had a night out on a pirate boat.. basically a booze cruise but they had a great night. By the way the nature parks are quite similar so you could go to one not the other as they are a bit of a coach trip/ drive.
