What would be the best city in Mexico to live? In that city how much is a 2 or 3 bedrom house?

How much per month would be a comfortable income to live on?

i like guadalajara because it's near many of the colonial cities, and the beach. it also has modern convieniences and heathcare, and some creature comforts such as several nice malls, starbucks, movie theatres, etc.. which doesn't sound that big of a thing, until you miss home so bad you would be willing to fly there and back just for your favorite meal.

you can live in wealthier areas and rent a home anywhere from 800-3000 USD, or live in a moderate area, maybe 6-700 USD. or live on a budget...you could rent a basic cement home, sans cabinets and appliances for perhaps 300 or 450.

if i had no car payment and no debt, i would feel comfortable living on 2000 USD a month in guadalajara.

Tehuacan, Puebla, MX
Tehuacan is situated in volcano belt. It's climate is very mild reaching a high of 80f in the summer and 70f in the winter. A three bedroom house may be (this is a guess) around 4500 pesos a month. Of course MX is not like the states so your rent 100% depends on your association with the landlord and your status in the town.

A comfortable income might be twice that. Realistcally, in Mexico, your wage doesnt matter. It is really how much you work, who your surrounded by and what your family can cover when you can't

Mexico is a great country and if you decide to move there, I'm sure you'll be welcomed ;)

Guadalajara!

Cancun ?? the lady who said that must be crazy, Cancun is one of the most expensive cities to live in.

I will suggest Guadalajara, Puebla, Queretaro, Cuernavaca, those are still in a centric part of country, and there are not very expensive to live in. now how much per month, that depends a lot what life style you have or you want to have.

According to my research, Queretaro and Aguascalientes. It all depends what lifestyle you are looking for. To me, weather, security, cost of life, economy are important things to consider; if you are young, you might consider looking for a big city. The rent starts from 500.00 and up

Mexico City is the only truly big city in Mexico. I don´t know what do you call comfortable, the prices are the same, 1 dollar - 10 pesos. If a car costs 10,000 dollars it costs 100,000 pesos.

My uncle has two houses, one in Coacoyula (in the state of Guerrero, south west of Mexico City) and one in Mexico City. The area where their house is in Mexico City is safe, and I would like to live there is I wanted to. I don't know if they pay rent, i think they own it.
But they also have a 3story, 4 bed, 3bth, kitchen, living and dining rooms, . . house in the a village called Coacoyula, it's really safe there, calm, interesting, and think they own that too, so i wouldn't know the price. But i would be nice to have a house there so I can go live there during my winter breaks or summers.
