Stop watching TV, and READ or actually get to TALK to real people... That'll give you a more accurate idea on how things truly are. It is not about flags or simple, unfounded explanations. |

look, nothing will happen. I've travel around the world, and I've seen Americas living in another countries and nobody cares. a lot of them don't speak anything but English and people try to help them. I'm telling you because my husband is American and He only speak English and we never have a problem. |

I clicked on this before i saw the 2nd part of the question, but just for answering the first part about waving the American Flag around: they would all be coming up trying to sell you stuff and offering to polish your shoes for money. They see Americans and they see dollar signs! |

I think that you should be careful when attempting that. We have a group of citizens that are called the "Minuto! Hombre" with big guns and huge "sombreros", doing nothing except taking care of our border and shooting at American illegal immigrants. We like to think of them as real "Patriots" defending our culture from alien influences and protecting our legal system. Funny thing though, most of the members of the Minuto! Hombre have American surnames such as Cogan, Peters, Roberts, Gates, and Bush! |

Although there are those that do this in the USA, if you check usually it is those who are citizens of the USA.
If you did that in Mexico, and did it in the wrong place, be sure some one will know where to find your body...if there is any thing left of it to find.
You sound like the typical stupid American who should never venture into Mexico. your attitude will get you killed. Mexico is not the USA...the people there live under different rules.
