A good way to determine a good resort for your Honeymoon/1st year Anniversary is this:
1- Length of stay
2- Location that you want to go to.
3- Your budget.
4- What amenities are you looking for at the Resort?
Once those 4 questions have been answered by you, it helps immensely in narrowing your choices. I'd love to help further(I am Owner of a Travel Agency), but you didn't go into any specifics, as there are a lot of Resorts that fit under "not too expensive but nice". |

Take a cruise. They are a blast. My hubby and I went to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas for our 10th Anniversary. Found a few places we liked and plan to go back. |

go to the golden crown paradise in cancun mexico, its an all inclusive resort, no children are allowed. It's pretty resonable priced when booked through gwv. gwv is a type of travel group, like a travel agent. But the gwv rep. will be at the hotel while your there, able to speak english and answer your questions and book fun excursions! I thought it was a wonderful trip! |

I'm begging you to stay at the Barcelo La Jolla. Mismaloya in Puerto Vallarta, particularly La mismaloya beach. BEAUTIFUL, has its own beach, large enough to find activities. The next would be Dreams in Puerto. Also great, but closer to the city. On the more expensive side, SEcrets in Playa Del Carmen had it all!!! You will not go wrong with any of the 3. |
