Depends what part you're going to.

If it's the north, then it's mostly desertic-like, so it's cold. Really cold. Well, it's cold for us Mexicans. Make it around the 40s-50s. If you're going up to the mountains, then it's really cold. Snowing, hail, rain, you name it.

I'm not sure about the south, but I can say it's cold as well. Around Zacatecas-Guadalajara, it's cold. Around Chiapas-Yucatan, I think it's NOT AS COLD AS THE NORTH, but it's still pretty cold.

All in all, yes, it's cold. Pack jackets, scarves, gloves. You're going to need them. And the cold here is unpredictable. It can be sunshine and pretty one day, and the next it's snowing.

ItÂ´s nicely warm, 28-32 C, and sunny.
That period is considered high season for Cancun area (the State of Quintana Roo). The water may be a bit cool for swimming though.

well...it depends on the part of mexico you plan on traveling to. cancun is perfect that time of year......vera cruz is cold. you would need to be more specific if you want correct information.

We will be there in December from the 3rd-11th at the Riu Palace Las Americas. We travel down to Cancun a few times a year. December is very nice highs around the low to mid 80's with MUCH less humidity than in summer months. Have a great time and be safe.

I live in Playa del Carmen. I like that time of year best of all. Warm in the day and bring a sweater for evening.

it's not very cold...in the north maybe
mexico city you'll be fine with a light jacket
south of mexico wont be cold...morelos(thats a state) is always warm
