Where can I find shoes my size in Mexico City?

I'm an American living in Mexico City and after a year here I still have to get my shoes in the US. There are so many cute shoes here...it sucks. Woman US size 10.

TO CLARIFY: My US size 10 (Mexico size 7 or 8) doesn't seem to be sold anywhere!

I had a horrible time trying to find shoes in my size in Mexico. I'm a size 11 women's!

I was able to find a limited number of "San Miguel" shoes in my size at the stores that just sold those shoes.

Did you try the Walmart that opened near Teotihuacán?

The other thing I had difficulty finding in Mexico is makeup in my shade. I am not "morena", and everything they had there was for them. I just made sure I had enough for the time I was there.

Go to Leon Gto. I think from Mexico City it's like 4 hours on bus, all shoes come from there.(almost)

In Mexico we use the metric system and that we apply to shoe sizes too.
I am size 6 in Canada and in mexico i am 24, which means 24 centimeters.

do the math and you'll get your size! good luck

Many Mexican people are very small...and few have feet the size of Americans feet. Just like large size clothing, you just have to buy larger sizes when you go to visit the states, or ,I order them on line and have them sent to friends who are making a trip to and from the states and they bring them to me. I wondered if in Mexico City, there were stores with larger sizes, but I guess Not!

why dont you just got to a shoe store and start trying on shoes to see which size you are in mexico????

It is annoying isn't it? I am a size 10 too, but most of my life had to squeeze my fit into a 26 ( biggest number MOST shoe makes will produce in mex). Also, they dont have different widths so in the few occasions I found a 27, was still unconfy. Used to go shopping to Tx every few months. Check the yellow pages, I grew up in Monterrey and they had a store that sold female shoes up to size 12 ( US)! Sounds crazy but if you find shoe shops specialised in showbiz (drag queens etc) you might find shoes and sandals in bigger sizes. good luck.
