Cabo San Lucas, hands down! The resorts (along Medeno beach) or the Pacific Ocean side are all 5 star. While there is no swimming on the Pacific side (currents are to strong), all the resorts have free shuttel to Medeno beach. Medeno beach is one of the best in the world. Waves are small, water is clean, and there are a ton of water activities, (snorkeling, jet skiing, sunset cruises, etc.) The beach has restaurants and bars right on the sand. Cabo is extremely safe. No crime. Sunset snd sunrises are gorgeous. Cruise ships come right into the protected portion of the bay. A nice sight to see. Cabo is a small town, within walking distance of the beaches. You will have a blast. I have been going 3 to 4 times per year for over 15 years. No place in Mexico is better. And October is a perfect month to be there. The days are in the high 80s and the nights are pefect in the mid 70s. Jim H. |

I have been to Puerta Vallarta, Acapolco, Cabo, Cozumel and Cancun and for my money Cancun has it hands down. Cancun has the best beaches, hotels, restaurants, activities, etc. My second pick would be Cabo because it is a very clean place and beautiful. |

All the beaches in Mexico are good in October but the Carribbean side has better "white sand Beaches". Playa south of Cancun is great and also Cancun itself is pretty good. If you like gold sand, Ixtapa is very long, nice beach. |
