Marina Fiesta and El Tesoro are located on the marina, right down town, and walking distance to the beach.
Right on the main beach, and walking distance to town, Melia Cabo San Lucas, Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos and Pueblo Bonito Rose, Hacienda beach Resort also, but maybe they stop working.
On the Pacific side, also walking distance, but not swimming (very dangerous), Finisterra, Solmar and Playa Grande.
Cheap hotels down town, Mar de Cortez and Siesta Suites are the "nicest".

Try either of the Two bueblo Bonito hotels. Right on the swimming beach and easy walking to the downtown and dock area. Both hotel are very nice but the "Rose" is newer and nicer. They are next door to each other so you can use either one when you stay. |

Keeping in mind that you're on a budget and I have also been to this Resort myself, I would recommend(I am Owner of a Travel Agency) Hotel Finisterra in Cabo San Lucas.
This Resort has an exotic and authentic feel about it, and the accomodations are quite nice. Right now, you can be there right now for as little as $468.00. This price includes: 4 Nights accomodations, Roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, airport/hotel transfers, all hotel taxes and service charges.
So it's quite a bargain, in my opinion. |
