GDL is the best! I used to live there. Try clubs, or the theatre. There's tons of nice people there. As for putting the moves on her, BE A TOTAL GENTLEMAN!!! Get her flowers, write her love notes, open doors, drive if you can, pay when you go out!. I hate to say it but the girls is GDL are more focused on money than in the USA, and they expect men to pay on dates and not be stingy. |

People from Guadalajara have a very nice way to get around, Girls tend to be very friendly and sweet. Try to go to a bar in Patria Avenue, or coffee shops in Guadalupe, all depends on your age.. Girls in GDl will not be very direct if they like you, but still friendly. |

Go out to night clubs and play it by ear. If your Spanish is fluent then it may be somewhat similar ... if not you are out of luck and better plan on staying a few years |

Maura loe has a good point. But I agree with the rest as well. Just out places and have fun and well just be a gentleman, Mexican girls love it when guys are gentleman and very respectful. It's a big plus! Then again some girls over there just want money out of your pockets..just be careful. Good luck in finding a girlfriend over there. |

As the other answers GDL has a lot of clubs where you can meet girls. While being there try this:
Go to a campus of University Of Guadalajara, there is one near downtown on Maestros St. and talk to any girl you like. Invite her to dance, there is a place called Mutualista in downtown.
If you follow these steps you'll be lucky for sure.
It is better if you drive a car. |
