las ventanas and la palmilla are now considered two of the best resorts/hotels in north america. if you are going down with a large group, might also make sense to rent a home in the pedregal. can get some incredible places there overlooking the pacific and/or the marina.

if you are more budget conscience, you may want to stay at the finisterra which is right in the middle of the city.

any were you want to it is your choice not no one eleses! but is do cost alot to stay there. If your rich you can stay at a nice hotel and if your not you can stay at a notmal.

crowne plaza in san jose del cabo.....all inclusive,even room service and mini-bar are included....very quiet and service is excellent....pools are the best

the westin regina is out ofthis world it is in a quite part of town but not to far to go and get a shuttle to all the nightlife.

Los Milagros. I stayed there for my honey moon last summer and it was great. Quiet, Nice Management and very affordable. Check ou the website.

I just got back from there and stayed at Melia San Lucas Hotel. Fantastic place, recently remodeled, awesome pool bar, 5 min walk from down town. And best part - breakfast bloody mary and mimosa bar.
