I'd take a road trip to Michigan for my summer vacation. The water's great, the sand is better than Wisconsin and the wineries are wonderful.
Don't know where you're from, but stay local. Find a small town near a state park. Hang out. Bicycle, grill, have a few cold beers, swim in a lake, that kind of thing. Support people, not conglomerates. |
