My wife and I spent our Honeymoon at the Riu Palace in the Riviera Maya...it was absolutely perfect! It's all-inclusive, and by staying at the Riu Palace, you can go to other Riu resorts that are connected to eat/drink as well. It is quiet and off the beaten path, but only minutes away from Playa Del Carmen. They offer torch-lit couples massages on the beach. The food is wonderful! They also offer a shuttle service to the Riu in the Hotel Zone if you want to go to the clubs there. There is a nightclub on location at the Riu as well!
We booked our trip through Apple Vacations and were treated like royalty from the minute we arrived to when we got on the plane to leave!
I can't wait to go back!! |

last year my family and I stayed at barcelo maya colonial, excellent food, nightly entertainment, clean rooms , pools are always warm, its in the maya riviera area. What a beautiful way to spend your anniversary. |

The Moon Palace in Cancun is the greatest place I've ever been to. But there are other Palace Resorts that you could look into...like the PlayaCar Palace. I highly recommend these places, they are well worth it. |
