How many illegal Americans sneak into Mexico? Americans go there, but they come back.

Mexico is part of North America.
If you are referring to the USA I would much rather live in the southern part of Mexico then ever go back to the USA.
I am Canadian, love it here and in Mexico.

Baja California
Sonora
Chihuahua
Coahuila
Nuevo Leon
Tamaulipas
I'd say that Mexico was the safer country. You'd be much less likely to be the victim of a violent crime. There are pickpockets, and house burglars, but the chance of being mugged or assaulted is very minimal.

It depends what part of Mexico and America. Most major cities in both countries are dangerous. Do you have two particular cities/states that you would like to compare?

Will this person be working, studying or retiring in one of these countries? Its important to consider these factors for someone to fairly answer your question.

Not counting bad areas of both countries, for living as a retiree, Mexico is head and shoulders better. You can live comfortably if not lavishly on what would make you a pauper in the US.

For living and working, the US is probably better simply because unemployment in Mexico is so high and wages are low. If you are able to work "from home" telecommuting, Mexico is also a wonderful place to live.

MÃ©xico is MUCH better, i don't have to worry about the police, the people, nothing here.

the government doesn't take all my money.

the people are better here.

i don't have to wait in line or on the phone to get things taken care of, there is better customer service.

the food in the jewsa is disgusting.

the doctors there don't care about making you better.

it is easier to run a business here, very little regulation.

the women are easy to talk to, they don't cry about imaginary sexual harassment and other feminist stupidity.

here, you have friends everywhere you go, people aren't cold like in the jewsa.

there are no problems with crime, i am safer here in D.F. than jew york or Los Angeles.

it was fun to make money over there from 2002 to 2006, not putting money back there anytime soon. it is a doomed society.

i suggest you watch locked up abroad on You Tube. then ask yourself this question. both places are dangerous but in america at least you have civil rights to where in Mexico you have nothing
