It depends on where your going in Mexico. That question is as broad as "Can you tell me about the United States?" - Mexico is a big country and different regions are just that different.
Cabo San Lucas is a great fishing town. Lots of sights and things to do.
Cancun is party central (to me anyhow)
Places like Tijuana and the border towns are just that border towns - mostly dirty towns, with people peddling their wares on the sidewalks to all the gringos that cross the border.
The weather if you want a generalization about it, would be hot! |

well the weather varies greatly where i go(my hometown) it is rather cold so you have to bring sweaters and long pants if you like go to ranches make sure you have shoes you never want to use again and i guess that it is really just beautiful it is very different and unique but thats y love my pueblito and my country :) |

I live in Mexico for the past 20 years. It has changed in a few ways. The larger cities are more expensive like eating out about the same as the US. Also clothing is more than the US. Yes we have some really beautiful malls like the US with top name brands. Rents are higher than a comparable place in the US with the modern touch.
Traffic in the larger cities is terrible, everyone has a car, if they can afford it and many can, credit is available easily, eventhough interest is high. The nicest thing here besides the beaches are the people who are great really, even if you do not speak Spanish. I would like to move back to th US and will as soon as I am able to. |

I've been to Mexico City, Iguala and Coacoyula (a small village in the state of Guerrero). I went to visit family and I went as a tourist. It was fun as hell. |
