10 Fun Mexico Tips!!! :)

1. If you're going to Mexico City and take a cab make sure that the driver has both license plates on before you pay or get in.

2. You can take a ferry from Cancun to Isla Mujeres...and it is soooooo beautiful!!

3. If you go to Chitzanitza be there at sunrise or sunset or both. Try and stay at a nearby hotel, that way you can sleep when all the tourists are out in the heat of the day and you'll be there for sunrise or sunset.

4. Don't drink pop out of the can. Ask for a straw. I'm serious.

5. You've heard this before...don't drink the water. Don't get bottled water and then drink it with ice wither, the ice came from the tap too! Don't brush your teeth either the tap water either, use a cup of bottles water.

6. At restaurants don't eat the salads or side of veggies and fruit they give you. Don't but any off the farmer's carts in the streets either.

7. The meat they have there doesn't taste like meat...if you're picky don't but it.

8. The milk and other diary products they have there will not be at all what you thought they'd be. I wouldn't recommend eating and of the above things unless you are in Cancun at one of the American big chain restaurants.

9. Barain with people for the price of things. People with shops will sell you something for less than they origanlly asked if you bargain well. Don't feel like you are riping them off, they will expect you to.

10. Wear lots of sunscreen. If you go snorkeling wear a shirt with sleves. You'll still tan. You don't want you vacation ruined by a bad sunburn!!

Mexico is very dangerous if you are in Mexico. Any person either a cab driver, euntrepenuer, or a person in a store is selling you something, if you are anyother color exept brown the will think you are american and will rip you off. The water there is unpurified(purified but not like in USA) and never pick up hich hikers because they will mug you when they get in. Never go alone and try to have an eye on your family and LUXURY!!!!! I have Family in Most parts of Mexico, ill tell you were is the most MOB runned places in Mexico. in Mazatlan, the State Tijuana, Mexicali, DF,Guadalajara. I hate being a hypocrite but these Mexicans are pigs.if you want to be safe, try to bring a Spanish speaker with you, Drive a cab to places you want, because in cities its crowded. Never accept free food. Ignore the people trying to talk to you. Eat in restaurants, because of you eat in food stands or drive-by's it's likely you will eat human flesh, not that every where in Mexico there is human flesh, its just that the mob has people/dealers doing some of the work and getting rid of some evidence. If you speak Spanish try not to speak English because of the whole American $$$$ thing. buy water or drinks from stores because the water is not that purified. And before you go, go to an Embassy or anywhewere to get a insurance, just incase if you are injured or ren a car and it bustes down. But why do you want to go there , you are litteraly taking a trip to the sewers. If you are there just to party and see Latinos, just go to LA and do that, the police in LA are trustworthy and the streets are safer. Glad to help you man. Any more Q's e-mail me at rheindheart@yahoo.com, have a safe but very safe time there.

Hello there I traveled many times there by car and by plane and with out trouble so first you need know were you want go if you choose the largest city in the world you can visit Xochimilco, Teotihuacan pyramids very interesting and biger , is many malls like Perisur, Plaza University, Plaza satelite etc. the university and you can go to hiking in Ajusco , very large forest , many museums more of 20 from Ripley´s to fine arts , Coyoacan, the handcrafts market I recommend that you can looking for friends first because is more easy and they can be very useful if you arrive to the airport inside is insured taxis very safer and you pay in advance to the place that you go , many good hotels from 3 to 5 stars this city is very similar to big cities in US is walmart, mac Donal's etc. I recommend good restaurants like Samborns (is a large chain of them every were) vips, chili's , etc. and don't worry for the drinking water is safe just watch that the seal is not broken don't eat in the street is many places but is not good food,If you want beach I like Zihuatanejo, Manzanillo, Vallarta, Cancun , Isla Mujeres , Acapulco , so if you want historical places is lots of them from Mayans ruins in Yucatan , Quintana Roo and Chiapas you can take good information in this number from US 01 8004829832 in Mexico city 52500493 ,52033078 or in other states 018009039200 for complaint , info etc. if you need assistance too so is lots of fun there Ahh ! and if you wash the fruits they are better than the US fruits...more juicy and good taste... good luck in your trip if you take it!
