What do you mean? I think they're cheap! The airlines (even though they suck) are losing money on most every flight. Fuel prices hurt them too. But it IS summer and people travel more in summer. Welcome to economics 101. |

Man you are right. the airlines have cut service and are now flying smaller airplanes. Be careful checking the Big 3 web sites, they don't include Southwest, Jet Blue, USA 3000 ...try a travel agent, you never know. |

Find a good travel agent. I advise my clients to wait and watch week to week. The fares will come down shortly. Right now is peak season. Everyone is traveling for the summer. If you are traveling in the summer, forget it. Just bite the bullet. Internet fares are no longer less money than purchasing with a good travel agent. They are usually more.

The prices aren't bad, if you think about all you recieve for you money, especially they time you save over driving. Travel agents aren't as good as they used to be since the commisions have skyrocketed. And if you search discount websites (ex expedia) you can find a little bit of a discount, but not as much as you might hope. |
