Wow, I don't think you can generalize that all "Mexicans" blast their music. I don't think nationality, color, creed, etc pre determine traits like "loud music".

Same reason you might blare your music on the highway...You love your music and you just want to share it with the world...maybe the minivan or suv next to you has sleeping kids but your music might be soo loud that even YOU are that courteous

1st off not all Mexicans blast their music so maybe you should re-word your question with "why do some....
All people are different you obviously have some rude people living by you but it has nothing to do with their color. Also different cultures have different ways of doing things. When I was in Korea it was ok to push your way thru the subway & train & not say sorry or excuse me but if I did that on a bus here I would say I'm sorry or excuse me it's expected in American culture. I think you just have jerk neighbors & they may think they have more of a sound proof space then they think I suggest you kindly ask them to turn it down 1st & if they don't then call the cops. That's American culture!

i live in mexico and i believe the reason they blare their music is because they grew up with that kind of music and dont really care if other people like it or not they just like to hear it out loud

and not all mexicans do that only the ones with little money in old trucks

They are just ignorant jerks- not because they are Mexican but because they are jerks. I don't have any Mexicans that I know of living near me but change that music genre to "rap", or to "rock" or R&B or whatever, there is some jerk playing it too loudly

I don't know for sure, but from I read in other answers not only mexicans do that. So your question has some prejudices.

I HATE when those ignorant stup.id guys play the music that loud (usually nasty music, by the way). You should think that, even those guys you've seen are mexican, not all mexican are that idiot.

It happens in MÃ©xico too. In some cities it is banned, and police ask them to play it not loud or give them a ticket. But in the most of the cities, it is not regulated.

Regulations are not important. Is education what they need.

The answer to your question "why do mexicans...?" is:
Well, because THOSE mexicans are ignorants not educated guys and don't have idea of what respect the others is; but don't say "mexicans do ...", it is not about beeing mexican, I'm mexican and I don't do that (I hate when someone does it), it is about beeing stupid and irrespectful.

I am a Mexican but I know exactly what you mean it bothers me too, but I believe almost everybody does this no matter what country or background you come from. You might be blaring out beautiful classical music, hip-hop, Mexican or even barney songs, the point is that itÂ´s always going to bother somebody because it is not music they like or understand. If you like a song it always sounds better to you LOUD. I personally donÂ´t understand Mexican music or like it one bit, but if I put on a good loud Smashing Pumpkins song, IÂ´m sure my Mexican neighbors will protest.

I was born and raised in Mexico until I was 10
and I don't like Mexican music.. it's so dumb and pointless
But people do that here.. and it's just the ghetto ignorant people
we're not all like that ;)
but this can apply to people blaring "rap" music
which is horrible music anyways
