Why do so many people hate mexican immigrants?

There are always people trying to make excuses of why. Oh, yeah, it's because they immigrated illegally. Well guess what? The only people here LEGALLY are the Native Americans! Look what we've done to them. Some people get an inch and take a mile. Now we have them living on these little "reservations" while we try to take over the world.

alot of people don't realize the jobs that Mex nationals do here in the US are jobs that they them shelves wouldn't touch on their best day

The arguement about Americans not wanting to do these jobs is a lie. The wages in these jobs have gone down over time due to the illegal immigration and the cheap labor that breaks the laws of the USA to get here and do these jobs. If the jobs had been under this pressure from illegal cheap labor then you would find Americans doing them. Meat processing plants, janitors, even working in the fields. Yes it is hard work no doubt. But thinking that because it is hard work no one will do it is wrong. No one will do it because the wages are depressed.

Choosing which laws to break and which to obey means you are not a person who respects the law. It means you do whatever you feel like doing to achieve your goals not matter who it hurts.

Mexico pretends to be a nation of laws, which is a lie. If it were it would ask its people to respect its neighbor's laws as well and not seek to distablize our nation. If it were a nation of laws why do the Mexican People complain of their own police being corrupt, of corrupt politicians and officials?

Mexico is a failed corrupt political system and economy. Mexico's Motto is of the Rich, for the Rich, by the Rich, and no one else matters.

Do I hate Mexican Immigrants no. Do I hate Mexicans or others who cross the border Illegally? no. Do I hate their methods yes. Do I hate that they don't respect our laws and our borders yes. Do I hate that they are making a mockery of our laws and our nation. Yes. But as to hating individual people for this, it all depends. Are they good citizens otherwise. No reason to hate these people. Usually they work hard and obey the laws.

Are they criminals apart from illegally crossing the border? Do they want to make the USA Mexico? These people I would probably hate with a passion.

One last thing. If I was in their position I would do whatever it took to get to the US to earn a better living for me and my family.

This is not a simple question. The answer lies not in complaining about who would pick the crops. The answer lies in Mexico itself.

People can be ignorant to other Ethnicity's. also, the media can be bias & portray them more so in bad light. people have a learn history before making judgements on others.

remember some people is just stupid and ignorants
they think they hate Mexicans but that's because if you speak Spanish they think you are Mexican

Argentinians
Peruvians
and any one that speaks Spanish
but they thing if u speak Spanish u must be MEXICAN

people usually make people feel lower than themselves.. so people (whites) like the feeling of power of saying Mexicans are low enough to be a dishwasher but not a manager of a restaurant.. it is not fair

i think of so because usally alot of mexicans in one family work together for one business..

people think that english should only be spoken in u.s. again not fair

Ok the thing is most illegals don't speak english at all in the U.S. They expect us to know spanish and if we don't they give us dirty looks. One place I worked at this Mexican man was speaking spanish to this girl and she said nicely that she was sorry she didn't speak spanish and he told her well you should. I think that is wrong they shouldn't think we should learn their language we aren't in Mexico. Plus tax payers have to pay for them to get healthcare plus we pay for our own healthcare. Illegal immigrants probably go to our colleges for a lot less (or free) than what U.S. citizens go for. That isn't fair! If Mexicans can't afford healthcare or food or anything than why the hell do they have so many children for?

"All your dumb crops"? You have just given some people further reason to hate mexican immigrants. In case you don't realize, many people hate the mexicans because they immigrated illegally. It is not whether they farm or not, it is about following legal procedures. Surely, you must realize that by now, since it is an ongoing discussion here on Yahoo Answers.

Because they will do it for so cheap, it takes away jobs from Amerian citizens. Also they go on welfare and take benefits from our citizens. They aren't hated because they are mexican. They are hated because they don't pay taxes. It has nothing to do w/ what race anyone is.
