Why do the restrooms in Mexico have WC, what does it stand for?
It stands for "Water Closet" and means a toilet. This is a standard architectural term.

Bassmeister-D : I am Mexican and I did know that, the problem with you is you think you are better than others. Travel a little more and come to Mexico, you will see we are a lot more civilized than many U.S. cities like L.A. or Philadelphia.
And I am not generalizing, I am speaking only about you, I have a lot of U.S. friends and they are pretty cool and open minded.

Many Mexican schools teach British English, not American English. W.C. is a term used more commonly in British English.
