any country feels its a great burden. u ur self agreeing its illegal. it includes the vagabonds, drug traffickers, murdererers. all the nasty things wo will be interested,to spoil their nations.

The irony is that the people that are most upset about illegal immigration (so called "conservatives") are being sold up river by their beloved republicans on the immigration issue.

Republicans embrace illegal immigration because it helps keep wages down which benefits the Republicans number one constituents (not you, silly!) - the corporations.

The coverage area is too big to patrol effectively and we don't have enough people to do the patrolling in the first place.

On the South the borders are on wild barren land and there are no people there to stop the illegal immigrants because it is just too big a space to patrol. Fences will not contain them because the will just cut or burrow under a fence.

On the North border no one wants to enter the US illegally because Canadians have it a lot better than folks in the US if you can overlook the cold in the winter time.

The problem is that the terrain to the South is too hard to patrol and the river makes it more difficult to police. Also, there are so many people who are now smuggling in illegals professionally for a living. Yesterday there was a gun battle of two bands of people smuggling of illegals on Interstate 59 in Houston not to far from Downtown Houston. One man was killed and several others were wounded: This happened on a big Interstate in Houston, Texas.
