Silver jewelry

Arnold
In your homework spell Guerrero correctly.

The city had great wealth from the silver mines. This led to the richest man Don Jose de Borda (originally Joseph, he was French) paying for the construction of one of Mexico finest church the Basilica of San Sebastian and Santa Prisca. He is quoted as having said, "God gives to Borda; Borda goives to God."

You'll find a useful article at

The town gets many tourist, many who come from Mexico City on buses a day trip. I have little interest in silver, but like Taxo very much. It is at it's best at night.

Taxco is a colonial city with great churches and baroque architecture. There used to be silver mines in the area (and still are) and that's why jewelry is so accessible and popular.
