Awesome in every way! The weather is warm and dry. The waters and beaches are the most beautiful. The culture is amazing with the food and the lifestyles. Everyone is very laid back and stress free. I guess I would be like that too living somewhere with perfect weather most of the year.

I am planning to retire there when my business sells. Why?
1. Cost of living--I can live on my Social Security check.
2. Medical costs--a procedure at the hospital in the USA might cost $2000 but $200 in Mexico.
3.The people--if you get to know them, Mexicans can be the dearest friends you've ever known.
4. I want to travel there more--I've been to 18 of the 31 states, and I want to see more (especially the archaeological zones). Every state is different--my favorites are Oaxaca and Chiapas.
5. I want to learn Spanish--right now I speak enough to order a meal, get a room and ask directions. I'd like to be able to hold a conversation.
6. Relative temperature--in the highlands of Mexico, you don't get the 100 degree summers that I'm getting now in Arkansas.

Cool place to visit. Ive never had a problem with Mexicans. Illegals are another issue but Mexico is very unique itself.

Every mexican I have met or known has been very respectable.

I think its a totaly awesome place, if you go to like a safe part. The people are so nice the food is so good. So many things make me think about that place, and want to go back, time after time. I think its cool because I do other stuff than what tourists do I have many friends who live there and its just fun to hang around there.

I love it. It is a totally different place to explore. The people are very nice. The food is excellent!!! I love it. You should really get to know this country (not just the north). The beaches are so nice. Of course, there are bad things about it, but what's good is good. I have really enjoyed the times I have been there. Its like a big family. Mexico rocks!!!! :)

The history is very interesting too. The ancient empires like the Mayan and Aztec are rich in history. It is very cool to learn how other cultures live, work, and celebrate everyday life.

Every city that you go to is different from one another. I used to live in Irapuato, Guanajuato, which has stories about mummies and that kind of stuff. The streets and city is very small, but its full of entertainment. There are fairs, games, and everything you can pretty much think of.

Guanajuato was founded as a town in 1554 and received the designation as a city in 1741. It is located in one of the richest silver mining areas of Mexico, and is well known for its wealth of fine colonial era Spanish architecture. The name "Guanajuato" comes from the Tarascan (P'urhépecha) word, "Quanax-juato", which means "place of frogs".

The tunnels were lit and paved with cobblestones for automobile traffic, and this underground road network carries the majority of cars driving through the city today. It is one of the most noticeable features of the city.

The city of Guanajuato was the birthplace of artist Diego Rivera, whose house is now a museum.The city also harbours one of the largest places in Mexico for mathematical research, a public institution dubbed CIMAT.

Each October the city holds the Festival Internacional Cervantino, an international festival of the arts named after Miguel de Cervantes. The festival is a popular draw for young students from across central Mexico, but attracts participants and spectators from around the world.

The film Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003) was filmed primarily in the city of Guanajuato. Many of the scenes in the movie feature sights easily recognizable to someone who has visited the city. However, being familiar with Guanajuato and San Miguel is a bit disconcerting as an interior scene may be shot in one city while passing 'outside' leads to a street scene shot in the other.

Also Chilpancingo is very cool too. I t has totally different things from the other 30 states and the capital Mexico D.F. Chilpancingo a.k.a. Ciudad Bravo is the capital and second-largest city of the state of Guerrero, Mexico. It is located at 17°33′0″N, 99°30′0″W. In the 2005 census the population of the city of Chilpancingo was 166,796. Its surrounding municipality, of which it is municipal seat, had a population of 214,219 persons. The municipality has an area of 2,338.4 km² (902.86 sq mi) located in the south-central part of the state.The city lies on Federal Highway 95 which connects Acapulco to Mexico City.Chilpancingo is where the National Congress met in 1813 to discuss Mexico's future as an independent nation.

Huh? Are you talking about the people that come into the US illegally? Yeah its a problem but The US is very hypocritical because we were all once immigrants ourselves unless your Native American (the first known people on the US land) and not to mention when people took property around texas when Mexico controlled that land. Americans didn't agree to following Mexico's rules just because they bought their land. Sounds like a double standard to me.

That was then this is now...

But I think we need to be more clear on what you have to do to become a citizen and I think we need to crack down on illegal immigrants and they need to follow our rules if they plan on being apart of the American future.
