It's funny but Mexico is not that far away from becoming a 1st world country, it is infortunate though that the media doesn't and hasnlt portray Mexico in a good kind of light. Mexico actually has a very large economy and a lot of wealth in many areas. The more globalized the world economy becomes, wealth and stabilization of wealth will permeate the countries that are considered first world by all people.
Also, this doesn't necessarily mean it will happen tomorrow, but over the course of many years, long after we're all gone, many things will even out, many things change, some for good some for bad, but things change.

by todays standards i think every country in the world will eventually become a first world country, but the gap between mexico and USA will probably never change.
