Nah, I don't think so, since Cabo is on the total opposite side of Cancun. I think Texas or Louisiana have a BIGGER chance of getting hit, before Cabo.

My family and i were leaving Saturday from Montreal for Cancun, and from there to the Riviera Maya. One look at Dean last Thursday and I was DONE. Mucho dinero down the drain (until last night when the airlines cancelled the flights, thank God!) but what kind of idiot would put him or herself into that kind of insane danger for a guaranteed-bad vacation ????

Cabo San Lucas is on the opposite side of Mexico, south of California. I'd say it would be pretty unlikely for hurricane Dean to hit there as well.

Not even close!!! Dear friend, Mexico is quite large and besides that the Hurrican would have to travel the country from coast to coast. Baja would be the safest place!!!
In the worst case you might feel some strong breeze which by now would be really cool cuase this time is the warmest one.
