Probably not. Usually at that point, everyone hasn't been home for a couple months and heads straight home (college kids anyway). Bad months are definitely March, April, and May which is spring break and graduation time. |

There are almost always drunk teenagers in Cancun. Look up www.weather.com and you can see the average weather for each month. |

Some, but as other said they will be mostly in school. Hurricanes would be only threat then, but minor in Dec.
Best months to stay away is March and june, spring break and graduations. January can be cool, February is preety good. April starts to get warm, Easter can make some attractions and activities be closed (very religious there).

As Cancun is a fully touristic location you can never really know what to expect, it is highly impredictable. However, do expect loud music, people drinking margaritas and just having a good time during their vacation, which does not necessarily mean getting drunk. I lived in Mexico for 2 years and experienced different views at different times of the year, according to that, I'd strongly recommend you to visit Cancun in February, March, September, October, November and early december.
You can always stay away from the crowd and the noise at your hotel beach & swimming pool and going out to dinner rather early. |

No, you will not find drunk teen agers Dec. 1-9, December is high season for us but it comes in a family package deal, other high season is about spring break and summer break, meaning June, July & August and some part of May, other than that you are fine.
If you want privacy and not people at all come over in September, October & November, that is the low season and you will only find few tourists.
If you wanna spend your honeymoon around here you might as well consider the Riviera Maya, we have beautiful, petite, intimate boutique-spa-hotels and you can visit Cancun for dinner or shopping purposes for a couple of days.

The beginning of December is safe from the spring breakers. Consider going to the Riviera Maya area. Less kids there getting drunk. I like May, June, Oct for Cancun and area. I think the best weather. You need to be careful with October, hurricanes. If no hurricanes, the weather is very nice.

There are some drunk people in Cancun all year, but they are not everywhere, they are in the disco and bars. as in every beach. Cancun is nice to go any time. |
