mexico, i'm from there (Cuernavaca) and i want to explore the country as much as i can. it really is a beautiful place it has so much history. visiting the ruins is amazing!

No comparison between the two in my opinion. If all you want to compare is beaches and hotels ... go to Hawaii. If you have an interest in Mexican culture ... give it a try!!

Depends what part of Mexico you visit if you go in deep in to the mountains you will totally love to breath there THE FRESH AIR but if you go to the big City's it's like anywhere else very polluted I Recommend La SIERRA DE CHIHUAHUA

Hawaii.. I think mexico is overcrowded with tourist..and addition to that..mexico is too polluted...I like mexico..I've been there a few times...really beautiful country...But the truth I'd rather visit hawaii

To Mexico of course. There the americans dissapear in the crowds so the chances of meeting one are much less than meeting them in Hawaii

Depends on what you are going for. If you want amazing beaches, relatively safe cities, and are willing to pay more then Hawaii. But if you would like to visit a place that may be a little less money but is just as interesting then Mexico is a great place too.

Hawaii only has so much area to work with, and each Island is unique. Mexico is large and there is so much to see.

That is a tough one... I guess I might pick Mexico just b/c I haven't seen much of it to this point. But I am always up for a trip to Hawaii, there is so much to see.

I've never been to hawaii, but i love mexico..why? because of the FOOOOOD!! seriously, don't be scared to try new things! and the beaches are nice...but don't go to an americanized places such as cancun. Wherever you go, try to find a small town that's not crowed to get the best experiences.

Mexico is so much more affordable and flight wise you won't be in the air that long. Mexico has some beautiful beaches and wonderful culture.

I would rather go to Hawaii. Simple. You can catch the beaches, and go to Pearl Harbor. A little bit of U.S. history and a nice tropical vacation all wrapped up in one.

I'm in Hawaii rightnow. Stationed here in the Island of Oahu.
It's nice okay here. There isn't that much to see here except the beaches and culture. I've been to Maui where it is beautiful. The beaches in Maui are beautiful, they're better than the ones in Oahu. I've also been to Kauai...I didn't see much there. I wouldn't recommend that place. Soon I will be going to the big island to see the volcano.
It's a lot of fun here in Hawaii, there a lot of things to do. It's a lot safer than Mexico. Unless you're a white guy who happens to pass by drunk locals. These drunk 'Mokes' look for fights, usually with military men but others as well. They stay in groups.

I'm Mexican and I still haven't gone further than a couple hundred miles into Mexico. I'd like to see the pyramids of Mexico. Go to ruins, go the beaches there as I know they're more fun than they are here in Hawaii. Party my *ss off in Cancun. I also speak spanish so it wouldn't be hard for me to fit in. I don't know if you know spanish well enough to get around in Mexico. There's a lot of corruption in my border town rightnow. No control/ no law/ no peace in my border town...So that's the bad thing.
