Can I just fly out to Nepal and Book a trek while out there?
I want to do a trekking/climbing holiday in Nepal at the end of August to sept. I very stupidly left it late to organise. Can I just book a flight to Kathmandu and book a trek while out there? Will there be any problems with avaliability (for example the Inca Trail in Peri only lets in a certain amount of people a day). Is it also cheaper to book out there? I only have two weeks in total for the trip.
Yeah you can go there directly and you can book the trek. If you need then you can go to following websites and book your trek now as well. If not then let them know you are coming to Nepal so they will pick you up from Airport and make neccessary arrangement.

yep, just turn up, there's loads of tour operators in kathmandu mainly around the tamil district. you can also head out to the mountains and organise it there, or even just meet a few people and go solo, your much less likely to get ripped off out there than back at home, as you can copare prices...........and see the mountains

I recommend booking once you get their because you get the chance to judge for yourself if the business you are paying is trustworthy. I hear many stories of people that book them online and then have a terrible experience or no experience at all.

Hi,
First and foremost, we are here to help people like you organise the trek in a smooth and fast manner. Just let us know the total number of days you have in disposal and any other specific requirements you might have then we will just give you the right program to suit your requirement.
If you are worried about either it being expensive in the last minute, nothing of that sort happens in Nepal. We give you the best rate and certainly it will be a way to cheaper then the rate you get back home.
Best regards,
Sanjay

would like to suggest booking your trek through internet & you can make the payment once you arrive in kathmandu. Mountain Sherpa trekking & expedition is one of the best Local trekking company in Nepal provides you very good service. I did trek with them many times.
They are really very professional in this field & very friendly guide & porter they will provide you. You can get very Cheap price comparing to other agencies. So, you can go http://www.guidenepal.com & contact Mr. Pasang Sherpa at: sales@guidenepal.com to get more information & price. They will arrange you good accommodation while you are in Katmandu & all the necessary ground transportation (Like Airport Pick up & Drop etc). They are really trustworthy Local Company in Nepal. I wish you have nice trek in Nepal.
