Could you climb the Mt. Everest?

I'm from Nepal and a lot of people died trying it.

Here we're afraid of the Mt. Everest. Our grandparents told us that the Mt. Everest is a living-Mt wanting to kill people for eat them.

Could that be true?. Greetings from Nepal!

Isn't it 1 in 20 that you will die if try to climb everest?

don't fancy those odds. "Because it's there" is not a good enough reason. Think I'll stop at home.

If it's humanly possible to do something, then I think I could probably do it. It might take about five years of training but I think I could do it.

Greetings from Manchester, England.

Been there...have not done that...but if I was young enough I would surely try it...too many people who try are not fit enough...hence they fail...sometimes it costs them their life.

Nepal is a beautiful country. Only the very lucky and the very strong make the climb..with a lot of help from the sherpas. The mountain has claimed a lot of lives. Some of the bodies are still on the mountain. It would appear like a living mountain because it could kill you. You are very lucky to live in that part of the world.

Absolutely not.Only a few people die while climbing. It was just an accident. In the climbing season, about 40-50 people reach at the top daily. Two months ago a group of 19 teenagers (girls) reached there.
