Let me help you
Too loaded a question, I won't have that much time to answer it.

Yes, I have been to Nepal, and there are lot many places to visit and things to do. particularly if you are trying to run away from hustle of a busy city life, nepal is the place to visit.

Why not visit Paris or Rome? I think you can find them.

well iam from nepal myself so i can give u some specific name of the places that might interest you, the best place you can visit is nagarkot which is the famous place in nepal for a beautiful sight of sun rise and sunset, and you dont have to worry about shelter there are resorts and restaurants. the next place would be a pokhara where you can see a view of lakes and nice scenaries. for the sight of historical monuments and temples you can go to bhaktapur, lalitpur or patan. for an excitement of an adventurous bunji jump, we even have a best bunjji jumping services, that you can consult with your guard because am no t fully sure about the place even i think its somewhere to the way to tibet.
for the shopping you should better go to kathmandu valley the capital city of nepal. also in the kathmandu, there are many beautiful places where you can have fun,but it is true its not as clean as in other developed countries and its very noisy but people around would be happy looking a visitor in our country but sometimes yes in every place you go you've to be careful while trusting people. best of luck. i hope you'll enjoy. have fun.

The MOST amazing place.Went for first time earlier this year and am planning to go back in Oct/Nov.
(Loved it so much that I am applying for jobs out there!!!!)
The Nepalese people are great, kind and helpful and keen to make us aware of their amazing culture.
You should certainly enjoy it.
Be careful to ensure you get all of your vaccinations???

the question you have asked is very vague. Even so, I will try to give you my answer.

Nepal is beautiful country - with the mountains on the north, scenic beauty and lovely places to trek and enjoy the nature. The medieval architecture and cultures, especially in the Kathmandu valley are of interest to the travelers. This is also great for adventure sports.

One of the most appealing thing about Nepal is its people - they are honest, friendly and helpful and treat guests with great respect. Although commercialization has eroded some of this trait, still people value guests very highly.

I think you might find this link helpful for you to know about what you can do in Nepal.

You can't just visit Nepal. It is a closed country and you need a visa.

=)
Nepal is very cool and beautiful in the Tarai{or like the villages} but in the city {especially Kathmandu} its very dirty. There is trash everywhere and it smells bad at places. The buses are crowded and things. Even though i wasnt born there, my parents are from there and i've been there a lot of times. And its not very nice right now. The economy is bad and the king is no longer in power. If u ever visit nepal, try to stay in the village part.

While "Michael C" is correct that you do need a visa to get into Nepal it is fairly easy to get. You can actually buy the visa at the airport and it was only $30(US) when I went a year ago.

Nepal is very different from Western culture, but an incredible place to visit. There are so many beautiful sites to see. I would recommend staying in Pokhara rather than Kathmandu -- its a lot calmer, cleaner and you can get a better feel for the culture.

Definitely do a trek, go rafting, or visit Chitwan park if you have the opportunity -- they are worth it.

Almost every person I met was very friendly there. However, I would look into their culture as to not be disrespectful -- its best not to expose too much of your shoulders or legs.
