There is a joint family system in nepal.
not sometime but most of the time more than two family share same home.
Nepalese people are so kind.
Most of the youth stay with their family member rather than staying alone unlike other countries. Because of Poverty most of the youth can't get opportunity to enjoy the facilities like youths of other european countries. still many people haven't seen TV, computers, vehicles etc. thats why they are confined to their parents.
so, this is the main reason for different lifestyle.
No food to eat, no clothes to wear, no electricity, no connection to the present world, no education. the main occupation is agriculture. all the members of the family work hard in their fields but difficult to susain life.
there are good facilities in only some of the cities like Kathmandu, pokhara.
but i am lucky to born in pokhara. there are great mountains and lakes.
and i enjoy the facilites thats why i am answering your question.
you will better learn the lifestyle.
