How to enter Nepal from Kolkata?
From Kolkata (Calcutta) which are the ways to enter into Nepal, both via rail and road.
BY RAIL: Take the Howrah Raxaul Mithila Express and disembark at Raxaul. That is the farthest point by rail on the Indian side of the border. Nepal is just a short distance away by road. Or take any train from Howrah or Sealdah or Kolkata which stops at New Jalpaiguri or Siliguri or Haldibari. Nepal is a short distance by road from these points. Kamrup Express, Darjeeling Mail, Kanchanjungha Express, Kanchan Kanya Express, Teesta Torsa Express and Uttar Banga Express are some of the trains that pass through New Jalpaiguri.
BY ROAD: Take any NBSTC, SBSTC, CSTC or private buses leaving from Esplanade in Kolkata for Siliguri. Siliguri is a short distance away from Nepal by road.

you can enter nepal from various points i. e. from kolkata to mirik jhil in niorth bengal or madhubani bihar or raxaul also in bihar. you can also enter from from gorakhpur in up and from kathgodam also.
