I'm going to assume you are departing from RP. Then you would go through HK or Bangkok for your cheapest tickets and air routes.
Maybe even get a cheap package tour in Bangkok. Depends on your budget.

The previous poster has already mentioned about traveling to Hong Kong or Bangkok. From there, take a flight to Kathmandu (from Hong Kong Dragon Air flies directly to Kathmandu and from Bangkok, Thai Airways or Nepal Airlines fly directly to Kathmandu)
