Nepal has a lots of things to offer specially its natural beauty. Gor an Indian there are some pilgrimage sites specially the temple of Pashupatinath and Manakamana Devi. Then after you can see the Himalayan range including mount Everest from a special regular flight that operates from Kathmandu. And also there is Pokhara a valley with lakes and mountains.
From Chandigarh the best way is to go to Delhi and take a flight to Kathmandu.
Regarding the hotel there are many so everything depends on your budget and your personal yasye.
