No!! You do not have to have passport to go to Nepal or it's city. Whether Kathmandu, Pokhara, Biratnagar. Any places you can visit. Daily thousand of Indians go to Nepal and thousands of Nepalese comes to India via Sonauli Boarder and other Boarders as well. But if you are coming via your own vehicle then you must have to obtain road permit before you enter into Nepal. |

Nepalese and Indian people do not need a passport to go from one country to the other as Nepal and India have an open border agreement. However if you are a tourist visiting them then you may need your passport as you would for any other country. Hope that helps. |
