Is there a language bhujpuri which I am told is spoken in Nepal.?

I am sponsoring a young girl in Nepal and I am told she speaks bhujpuri. The nearest I can find is bhojpuri which I think must be the correct spelling.

Yes, there's indeed a language named Bhojpuri in the southern Terai region. Actually, my own mother tongue is Bhojpuri and I come from Birgunj, a sub-metropolitan city on the border to India.

Robert
Sure it is a language in Nepal, and the correct pronunciation is "Bhojpuri". This language is spoken by the people of non-hilly regions in Nepal.

Bhojpuri or भोजपà¥à¤°à¥€ is one of the recognised regional languages of Nepal. A total of 7% population of Nepal, specially in southern region, speaks Bhojpuri. This language can be compared with Hindi. I personally like the pronunciation of Bhojpuri words.
