I have never been there but I'd love to go one day. I at least want to visit Mt. Everest. I don't want to climb it because it is too difficult and too many people have died. It is, however, the biggest mountain in the world so I want to see it up close and personal.

Eco-Savvy
Nepal has three main cities of tourist attraction-Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur.

Mountain Flight (not to miss this)
One hour flight in Kathmandu will take you over the spectacular glaciers, snow capped peaks & gorges and finally you come across the highesh point of the world – The Mount Everest

I want to be there for flora

There are over 6,500 species of trees, shrubs and wildflowers in Nepal. The height of floral splendor is during the months of March and April when rhododendrons, the national flower, burst into color.

Its popular among French.

Nepal is a wonderful little mountain kingdom in the Himalayas. Of late it has been racked by political turmoil. Here is a capsule view of Nepal:
Population: 26.3 million (UN, 2005)
Capital: Kathmandu
Area: 147,181 sq km (56,827 sq miles)
Major language: Nepali
Major religions: Hinduism (official), Buddhism
Life expectancy: 61 years (men), 62 years (women) (UN)
Monetary unit: 1 Nepalese rupee = 100 paisa
Main exports: Carpets, clothing, leather goods, jute goods, grain
GNI per capita: US $270 (World Bank, 2006)
Internet domain: .np
International dialing code: +977

Tourists will enjoy Nepal - because it is so unique and different.
