The current prime minister of Nepal is Girija Prasad Koirala. The answer by Kiran T is right but has mistake in spellings. Yes he is from Nepali Congress Party and party president too.

Mr. Girija Prasad Koirala. He is not elected prime minister at this time. He was nominated as Prime Minister by Internal Contitution 2063/64. When Parliyament election held then we can have elected prime minister.
