Dipika,

I don't think many people will answer your question seriously, because it requires an elaborate description. Rather split your question into parts, and get the answers.

I am a Nepali, but I have always found positive attitude of the people in US about Nepal. Some people have never heard about Nepal, but many of them know Nepal, and they love Nepalese. Unlike the perception about the people from some specific countries, Nepalese are always considered "good" people.

I agree with Ray's answer too, but it is mainly in the areas you mentioned.

Some guys, who come to US without adequate funding, work illegally in gas stations, restaurents and similar places. Obviously, as they are working illegally, they set up themselves to do just anything for money. One who sells his/her ethics to work illegally, can obviously be dishonest too. The areas Ray mentioned have a lot of such nepali students/people.

Many such students come here showing fake financial proof required for visa, and a commitment to pay the university fees, which is very very expensive. Wish nobody with insufficient funding were issued visa from Nepal.

I agree with you Ray

i love nepali people but they hide or concieve their feelings 4 a bad reason i loved a nepali but he was married he could never tell me that he had a wife so i have arrived at a conclusion that nepali boys only want a bed partner they hide thoughts and are so soft spoken to fool a girl especially us indians. well the nepali girls r sweet and cute but nepali people r also not friendly , they r self absorbed always about their family and all about them never cared about others.Well all r welll at their heart but they cant show their inner side TO OTHERS.also they need to build some consciousness about behaving well with all and in equal with all whether boy or girl.

In regards to B Dai's answers Nepalse are also considered as one of the most unfaithful and dishonest person in Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma nad Kanasa area. They are expert in employee theft and i feel shame being a Nepali and residing in those community here in USA.
