The independence of Tibet ?

Why can't Tibet be independent from China?

Tibet used to be Indipendent Country once upon a time. But once China has taken it then It has lost. Dalai Lama is fighting to make Tibbet Independent Country but has very very rare chance. China has eaten Tibet like big fish eat small fish just like that.

Because obviously Chinese are stubborn assholes that refuse to give us our own Independence. Fawking liars. : [ Pardon my language.

Because China is Greedy Capitalist State which is being ruled by the Ghost of Mao & Deng xiaoping.
Chinese People have become slaves to the principle of Communism.

Also My homeland is very rich in mineral resource.

My Homeland Tibet is the SOURCE of 7 Big Main Fresh rivers of Asia.

China eversince invaded my homeland. has used what ever Violent means to Suppress us Tibetans. The Communist Gov't has lied nonstop to keep its citizens opinion Controlled & regulated.
My homeland Tibet IS THE SOURCE FOR 7 BIGGEST FRESH WATER IN ASIA !
1. Yellow
2. Yangtse
3. Mekong
4. Salween
5. Brahmaptra
6. Ganges
7. Indus

China is incurring huge expenditure in transferring and consolidating the Chinese population in Tibet. Massive investment has been made to build a network of modern highways all over Tibet. China can also boast of having laid the highest railway track in the world that connects Lhasa with Beijing. In fact, China often complains that its “civilizing” mission in Tibet is costing the government and people of China large amounts in terms of subsidies to an under-developed region. According to official Chinese statistics, the level of annual subsidies to the Tibetan Autonomous Region (TAR) in the late 1980s was around 1 billion yuan or $270 million. However, all the infrastructure that China has built in Tibet has not made the lives of the native Tibetans any better; it has only taken the exploitative apparatuses of the Chinese government deeper.

jenny: we didn't remained silent when Chinese marched into our homeland. We fought back but they killed many of us. 1.2 million tibetan died because of Chinese invasion. i think its much more than 1.2 million because it has been more than 50 years.

Tibet issue in NEPAL topics is little unusual . There is big controversy over TIBET and CHINA. . Is TIBET once part of CHINA so taken or TIBET was indipendent in past and captured by CHINA. When I was small I used to read or hear that Tibet was independent.
I don't think there is lchance for Tibet be independent because Dalai Lama himself demands Greater Tibet with self right no independent and self - proud , self-claimed powerful , self-claimed humanatarian CHINESE GOVERNMENT would allow that.

Several reasons, but primarily because China has become too important and powerful on the world stage for other countries to be able to successfully exert pressure on them for this "domestic" matter. China long ago realized that annexation of Tibet would be an insignificant development on the world stage, other than symbolically. Forget the atrocities that were committed, it was too far away for people to care whether it was part of China or independent. It would be much more difficult for China to invade Tibet today and get away with it. But, since China is no longer killing and raping by the millions over there, people are willing to cut them a little slack.

The only way Tibet could become independent is if, along with international pressure, China's government opens up, which is nearly impossible considering its near-absolute power. But Tibetans should never give up hope. After all, communism did fall in Europe.

The same reason why Kashmir can't be independent from India, Texas can't be independent from USA, Kosovo can't be independent from Serbia, and the same reason why we can't be independent of our petty thoughts of Nation and Nationalities.
