Travelling to Nepal in NOvember?

hi.. i might be traveling to nepal in mid-november. There are a few things i'd like to find out

1. which airlines provides the cheapest airfare to kathmandu, nepal?
2. what are the best hotels there?
3. what are the things to do there... pls don't say climb mount everest
4. anything else i should know about?

here is a little info that might help.... i'll be going with my family and we are people who rather much enjoy to be in nature and the outdoors BUT my parents are not the type who will be able to go on tiring treks or expeditions. not really into much adventure and we are not adrenaline junkies. we are more into spirituality and meditaton and hoping to make this trip to nepal more of a trip cut off from the world. we'd like to see the culture and go to meditation places and so on.

if you think you can help, pls do :)

1. use this site
http://farechase.yahoo.com/
Airport code for Kathmandu is KTM. Use your home town to start and find the best rate. Good luck. its hard to find a good one.

2. Dont go to Thamel. Its the (tourist) ghetto. Most tourist go there because it is CHEAP

3.
Go to Pokhara city and see the beauty and calm. Pokhara is best.
Go to Chitwan for jungle safari (see rhino and tiger if you are lucky on elephant ride).
Go to Monkey Temple for buddhist temple.
Go to Patan durbar square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square to relax.

4. Bargain is a common thing Dont forget to bargain.
Tell chinese faced nepalese that they are chinese and Indian faced Nepalese Indian. They would be pissed off.

If you are looking for spirituality, there are many Hindu and Buddhist temples. like Pashupatinath, Swayambhu etc.

Thanks for the query about Nepal. If you want to visit Nepal, there are different beautiful places with fascinating scenes. For you can visit Pokhara (Western Regions of Nepal), Ilam (Eatern Regions of Nepal), Dhankuta (Eatern Regions of Nepal), Muktinath (Mid western Part of Nepal). They are only the common names. There other beautiful places that we like Nepal. Except climbing mountains, you can go for rafting, Elephant Riding (Chitawan), Rock climbing. For meditation, you can go to Osho tapoban in Kathmandu. For cultures, this is the places of many cultures. To see, Newar culture, you have to visit Kathmandu Valley, Tharu culture visit visit Dang( midwestern region), for Tamag Culture visit (Rasuwa, Sindhu palchok- mid regions), Maithili culture(Janakpur-mid regions) and many more cultures. For the best hostels, you can contact to Solti hotel, Everest Hostel, Yak and Yeti hotel, Phulbari Hotel, Kathamandu Guest House and so on. If you come to Nepal, do not only visit Kathmandu only because the geography of Nepal is very diverse.
Thank You
if you u many queries, I would answer.
