In 1953 May 26th Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenjing Norgey Sherpa was the first persons to climb Mt. Everest. Nothing I have found about "Cook"

During the expedition they must have had a cook, however during the final ascent they must have lived off canned stuff.Anyway it is not recorded in history-so I don't know.
