Nepal is a part of Asia near the Himalayas. Capital city is Kathmandu. It is the gateway to Mt. Everest. Most Nepalese do not eat pork. It is na country near India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

I know I met several astoundingly kind people there on all my 3 visits, and (political situation permitting) a Western visitor really cannot fail to have a good time there.
There's also a lot of corruption, even by Asian standards, and a lot of petty swindlers.

The image of nepal is not good in internationallly.

They are gurkhas, they will fight for other countries if given enough food/money. They have fought for britain, singapore, india. They have defeated the Argentina in Falkland war. They are bahadur. They are gurkhas. They have a lot of victoria cross.

A lot of child die in nepal because of lack of good water.

There are a lot of yetis in nepal.

Most of the people know karate or similar martial arts.

someone even told me that Nepal in italy and explained it has good mountains, beautiful place. (I later found that he was talking about Naples, italy). (He was confused clearly because of my black hair, the same color as most italians).

As previous person said. A lot of nepalese women are sold for cash in india so that they can do prostitution. ( have you seen the teleserial by the famous maha jodi who has addressed this issue)

The government people are not friendly. They will ask money for doing anything. Customer service is worst if you look like local people. (but for foreigner its good). The people are very corrupt.

In Nepal they dont eat cow.
In Nepal eating fish and chicken is considered non-vegeterian.
Some vegeterian even consider eating onion, garlic as non-vegeterian.
