What is the average airfare to Nepal from Chicago?
My husband and I are planning to adopt a child from Nepal and may have to travel there twice. We don't know what time of the year it will be and need to estimate airfare expenses.
hey...I actually flew from Chicago to Nepal last summer! First I flew to LA say a couple hundred...and then my flight to Thailand was $1700 but I was with a group so we may have gotten a discount. Then I think the final flight to Nepal was a couple hundred. Sorry this probably isn't much help...prices flux so much depending on when you buy your ticket so it's really hard to say. I'd put aside a few thousand for each of you just in case and then search like mad for a seat sale. I think that's so amazing you want to adopt a Nepali child. They are some of the most beautiful people in the world!! And if you've never been to Nepal it's one of the most mind-blowing, beautiful places in the world!! Good luck!

i am from Nepal. the first time i came to chicago...we used ktm- honkong- los- chicago route....which is cheap. while returning we used chicago- geneva in swiz- kuwait- delhi- ktm (cheap route but i wont recommend). next time when we came we used ktm- thi- japan- chicago...which is also a cheap route.
