I think better way to goto Pokhara from Kanpur is take a train upto Gorakhapur. From there you ride your bike within 1 hour you will reach to Nepal-India border then goto to Butwal. From Butwal you have 2 ways 1. you can go by Syangja Waling via Palpa Bartung or you can ride your bike Narayangadh road upto Mungling. From Mugling you can go to Pokhara via Damauli... The Syangja Waling is the sorter way than Mugling..

From Kanpur, you may take NH25 to Lucknow. From there either you can take NH28 to Gorakhapur or road to Nepalganj. From Nepalganj, Nepal take the East West highway and reach Butwal. If you are taking Gorakhapur road, from Gorakhapur take NH29 and reach Nepal boarder and reach to Butwal. From Butwal, follow the highway to Tansen - Syanjha -Pokhara. Wish you a safe and nice journey.
