there are many options
Saty around one/two day in kathmandu. visit the monkey temple, three different durbar square (one in patan, one in kathmandu, and one in bhaktapur).
Dont forget to get the air around everst region. its awsome.
for the other day go to pokhara or chitwan. Pokhara has a flight from ktm and also chitwan, but be sure about the schedule. These two places are great. But i dont think you would be able to visit these two places in two days. so i would suggest you to go to pokhara for a change. |

I visited Nepal and loved Monkey Temple. Its fantastic. The other thing, if your not strapped for cash take a scenic plane ride around Everest at sunset or rise. |

Although absolutely correct that Chitwan is a great place to visit, it can take several hours to drive there. So it may not be practical for only a four day visit. I would recommend seeing the main sights in Kathmandu: Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupati, Changu Narayan, Bouddhanath Stupa. Other than that, you can visit some nearby villages to see what life is like outside of the big city.
If you can you should definitely take a flight to see the Himalayas, you may never have another chance! Have a great time. |

Dear friend,
If you have 4 days to enjoy in kathmandu then i'd like to suggest you to go to Nagarkot or chitwan for the fun.
Nagarkot is a hill station about 30 km away from kathmandu and chitwan is about 150 km away from kathmandu and chitwan is famous for the jungle activities in Nepal.
