What would you have to wear if going to Kathmandu and Everest Base camp in April?
In Kathmandu, dont worry bout the clothings.. it's just plain t-shirt and few jeans pant... and u can go with the according fashion... and while going to Everest Base camp, you have to be too caustious and not preplan your dresses from here.... you can go to Thamel, it's a place in Kathmandu where you can find particular and speacilist dresses for trekking and travelling, from sleeping bags to air proof trousers and everything in a amazingly cheap price, i just guess you'll get all your dresses within 75Aud Dollars, that also the best material that can be used.. . so if you want to take anything then i'd like to suggest you to take few NORTH FACE JACKETS, wind proof trousers and JACKETS, SLEEPING BAGS, WOOLEN CLOTHS, AND COTTON CLOTHES SO THAT YOU ARE WARM... BUT IF YOU HAVE ANY FUR MATERIAL THEN IT WILL BE GREAT.. have a gr8 time in nepal... i miss that country...

Everest Base Camp is way too cold and you need to wear winter clothes including glove, winter cap, heavy jackets. While in Kathmandu, a t-shirt is enough to keep you warm in April.
Don't forget to wear underwear too.

The average temperature of Kathmandu in April is 25 degree celsius and that on Base camp is -10 degree celsius(calculated in 6pm) Note that it might be considerately warmer in the mid day. In Kathmandu, I would suggest you to have a t-shirt, and a possible raincoat(you might be caught by pre monsoon rain), in everest base camp, get warm clothes, and a wind proof jacket, for the winds often get chilly.
