The Sherpa's live mainly around Namche Bazaar in the Everest region and a lot of them have been on the top several times. They use the younger ones for training. For Nepalese it does not have the same meaning to climb the EVerest as it has for Westerners ....
The only correct source would be the ministery of interior in Kathamndu which issues the permits for the Everest and also defines the guides which have to report back the result of the expedition.
